During June 2018 Delta commenced a major refurbishment and repair programme on the No2 Kiln at Singleton Birch Ltd.

The work included modifications to a wet scrubber unit which involved the fabrication and installation of all new internals to reduce dust emissions and the installation of the same.

During the overhaul significant shell repairs were carried out and the complete refurbishment of the gas traps and associated duct work.

The Blower house was also refurbished with new air receivers being installed, valves over hauled and the existing pump and pipework being replaced.
