As a continuing support to Nippon Goshei in Hull, Stardelta Power and Control provided additional instrument technicians to assist with the 2018 major shutdown.

The 30day shutdown event was executed during the whole of September.

The instrument technicians under took the calibration of pressure, temperature and level instrumentation across the entire site working to the Nippon site standards.

The instrument technicians also assisted in the isolation and making safe of numerous control valves prior to their removal from site for overhaul.

Post shutdown works were also carried out in order to bring the plant back on-line.
